In my previous journal entry, I mentioned that I've been accepted to Kanazawa University as an exchange student. Well, I'm here now! And for those interested in my exchange, I have a couple of links.

I also made another Tumblr blog, presenting the adventures of Veigue the Rubber Strap! Not exactly Japan-specific but for ~10 months, he'll be searching for Claire in Japan.
Aaand that's about it! Chances are I won't be making any new costumes here, but I'm planning on posting more photos of this year's costumes. They're kinda lagging because I've had other things to think of, such as this student exchange and receiving a degree. (I'm a Bachelor of Social Sciences now!) I also took Joshua's costume with me in hopes that I'd be able to have a photoshoot in Shibuya while here. *___*

General update
It's been quite a while since I last wrote here so I figured it's time for a little update on my cosplay plans and stuff~
First of all, I'd like to say that I've been accepted into Kanazawa University as an exchange student! That means I'll be spending ~10 months in Japan, leaving in late September. I'm both excited and scared but all in all, I'm looking forward to it!
As for cosplay, I've been continuing with Pandora Hearts. In January, I cosplayed a manga version of Jack Vessalius as I ran out of time and couldn't finish his usual outfit. (Hint: DO NOT WEAR A HEAVY WIG FOR TWO DAYS IN A ROW. Unless you want your hairline's skin to suffer,

Travels and cosplay (plans)
Last time I mentioned that I'm planning to write about my trip to Japan on Tumblr, and I did! Here is the diary-style post and here is what I bought.
Then there was the trip to Germany and AnimagiC of which I haven't really written anywhere yet. I'll be writing about in on my Finnish cosplay blog at some point but won't be saying too much here. AnimagiC was fun! Quick update
Just popped in to say that tomorrow, I'll be heading for Bonn and AnimagiC! I'm going to take Peony's and Shingo's costumes with me. Peony because I want a Tales costume because of Hideo Baba, and Shingo because I didn't feel like fixing Vince or getting a heatstroke or wearing glasses.
... Okay, I popped in to say something else too. That is, I still haven't written about my trip to Japan anywhere. =w=; I'm hoping to write a short text and make a separate loot post on Tumblr but if that happens, it won't happen before I return from Bonn (August 4th).
